What: Fireguard Restoration Project - 169,700 stems

Where: Grand Prairie AB

Why: The scope of this project was to reclaim and restore a fireguard that was created in 2023. There was a great diversity of restoration occurring naturally, with many fruiting bushes claiming dominance in some areas. We were responsible for planting lodgepole pine and white spruce throughout the 73 hectare fireguard as part of the restoration process. This included 2 small areas under 10ha respectively and one large fireguard around 63ha.
