What: Spring Land Re-Beautification and Reclamation

Where: Bearspaw AB

Why: The scope of this project was to re-purpose an old section of land for a private land owner back to a forested area after years of inactivity. 30+ years ago cattle were rotated through the land however it has since remained unused. The land owner wanted to reforest and re-beautify the land for her grand children’s future enjoyment.

Species: Lodgepole Pine, White Spruce, Black Spruce, Tamarack Larch, Sandbar Willow, Canada Buffaloberry, Saskatoon Berry, Choke Cherry, dogwood, okanese poplar, black wotton wood, green alder, and Balsam Poplar.
